The human known as Michael Dennis graduated from MIT with Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering, Theoretical Physics and Advanced Computer Theory. He was immediately drafted by a Technology Firm known as Sapietech International. Sapietech designed new technologies for application in heavy labor jobs. their current Project was a Suit that collected free-floating residual energy, of varying types, and converted them into the most basic form of energy. Simply called Raw Energy, this was used to power the suit and its functions. its could Enhance the wearers speed and agility by up to Five-fold and amplified the strength of the wearer. It could direct the energy in a variety of Shaped blasts for use in Demolitions and Excavation. The energy was clean and Self-Sustaining.
The Sapietech Main Lab where the Suit was in its prototype stage, was assaulted by the shock troops of Lord Recluse. Apparently word of the marvelous creation had reached his ears and he most likely wanted it so that he could apply its uses to his soldiers for an Attack on Paragon. In the Attack. Michael was in the Test Chamber, collecting Data on the suit. When the Alarm sounded he saw the chaos on the security monitor. Michael Donned the Suit and Fled the building. Destroying all the Data he could not carry on his way out. When the Soldiers found that the Suit had been taken they Demolished the building with a Massive High-Explosive charge. Michael took the suit to the only person he knew he could trust in this matter, the Statesman.
The Statesman thanked Michael for his actions and quick thinking. In a few days He was contacted and offered A private lab, personal staff and all the resources necessary to continue his work on the project.. now just called The Suit. The Statesman also had Michaels records removed for his own safety and asked him to choose a hero name as his new one. The only thing He asked of Michael in return was that he use The Suit to help Paragon City in any capacity he could.
Michael has improved on the original design several times now and has been Referred to a Super-group called the Technocratic Union, for future research and improvements.
